The AV620 and AV630 Top models of the ‘PERIPLO’ line meet the needs of companies with high production rates. The rotating arm winding system around the stationary pallet allows the handling of even very unstable or extremely light loads. The variable rotation speed of the arm and the up and down speed of the reel-holder unit allows the overlapping of the film coils to be adapted to the winding requirements. The reel-holder carriage incorporates a motorised film pre-stretcher as standard.

Optimum film utilisation
The motorised film borrowing device mounted on the reel-holder unit elastically stretches the film before depositing it around the load, making maximum use of the stretch film’s elastic characteristics. This system reduces the pressure on the edges of light or deformable loads and significantly reduces film consumption. By means of a sensor system it detects the amount of film required and enables automatic variations in film elongation, adapting it to the rectangular shape of the pallet.

Film holding and cutting system

At the beginning and end of the wrapping cycle the film is held by a gripper and at the end of the cycle it is mechanically cut by a blade. Simultaneously, a hot pad sealing device seals the end flap onto the pallet. Finally, the sealing of the film is ensured by a gluing brush that acts mechanically over the entire height
